Full Job Description
Position Location: This role supports our Balmtimore branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Eastern Shore area.

Commissioning Technicians participate in the estimating, tracking, start up and commission of projects, and will be the customer interface for all technical requirements of assigned projects. You will provide expertise and knowledge throughout the system or service project lifecycle on customer sites. Our Commissioning Technician's technical expertise, project oversight, and customer interaction contribute to efficient project execution, satisfied clients, and optimized long-term performance of systems.

As a Commissioning Technician, you will:
  • Support the Eastern Shore Service Team in delivering exceptional customer service and operational performance.
  • Oversee and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM) activities to ensure contractual commitments are met.
  • Develop accurate and timely service quotations for repairs, upgrades, and customer requests.
  • Manage the planning, execution, and completion of service projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Maintain accountability for a service contract portfolio valued at up to $1.2 million.
  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with technicians, operations teams, and sales partners to drive successful service delivery.
  • Monitor contract performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support business growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Siemens processes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Support financial performance by managing contract profitability, forecasting, and project execution.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience in the installation and/or maintenance of Building Automation Systems
  • Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years' experience in the installation and / or maintenance ofBuilding Automation Systems
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to read/understand design and construction documents
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

The pay range for this position is $77,910 - $133,560. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
