The Opportunity:
The Senior Commercial Marketing Broker is responsible for understanding our insurance suppliers. Specifically, this refers to our commercial insurance companies understanding their processes and their risk appetite.
This individual has a sound understanding of the various products available by each insurer. The Commercial Marketer can provide objective product analysis and comparisons with competing products and rates. Consequently, this position requires excellent negotiating skills.
This individual develops and maintains lasting relationships with various HUB International departments, key business partners, and clients. The Senior Commercial Marketing broker works closely with Account Managers, Account Associates, and Account Executives to deliver insurance solutions needed to meet client demands

What you will bring to the role:
5-7 years of commercial property & casualty experience is required. Experience as an Account Manager is an asset
Extensive knowledge of Commercial Insurance markets
Level 2 license, and the equivalent in other jurisdictions in which HUB International does commercial lines business, is required
Working towards CAIB or CIP designation
Post-secondary degree or combination of education and experience is preferred
Motivation and desire to help support a diverse team and contribute to a positive team environment
Pro-active and a self-starter with strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Works well in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
Proficiency in windows-based computer systems
