Senior Clinician Investigator Intervention, Services Delivery, or Implementation Science Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center - Lebanon, NH
The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock located in beautiful northern New England is seeking a mid-career or Senior Clinician Investigator and faculty member (MD, PhD or MD/PhD) with an established research program in 1) neuropsychiatry, immunopsychiatry/neuroimmune psychiatry or biological psychiatry or 2) geriatric psychiatry to complement faculty and clinical strengths of the department.
In this position, the successful candidate will have 3 main components to their role:
- Research: Lead and continue to build a successful program of externally funded, high-impact applied research, typically leading to program projects, center grants, and/or research training grants. Ideally, research will connect to active departmental clinical activities and initiatives.
- Mentor: Actively mentor early career researchers in developing their own independently funded research careers through, for example, K awards and other mentored career development awards and postdoctoral research fellows.
- Leadership: Strengthen the research infrastructure of the Department of Psychiatry, by, for example: (a) helping lead the department's early career research funding programs; (b) building research collaborations within the department and across Dartmouth Health (DH); (c) collaborating in the design and implementation of the department's research education and mentoring programs; and/or (d) joining in the leadership of relevant research programs across DH (see opportunities, below).

Preferred candidates will have a doctoral degree with relevant clinical experience.
