About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Services Manager to lead complex, high touch events from planning through final reconciliation. Reporting to the Director of Events & Client Services, you will serve as a trusted client partner, own event details and budgets, and coordinate teams across Sales, Operations, Catering, Finance, Scoreboard and other departments. The role requires the judgment to manage VIP expectations and large events with more than 1,000 attendees while maintaining exceptional service and financial discipline.

  • Lead a portfolio of meetings, receptions, galas, concerts and other events from handoff and planning through on site execution and follow up.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, translating goals into clear event plans, anticipating needs and resolving issues with discretion and urgency.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients and external partners to support seamless planning, clear communication and lasting client partnerships.
  • Own high touch, large scale events with more than 1,000 attendees, coordinating guest experience, staffing, vendors, catering, production, timelines and venue logistics.
  • Build and maintain detailed event budgets and cost sheets in Excel; track estimates, vendor costs, client charges, payments, changes and projected profitability.
  • Review event orders, contracts, invoices and cost reports for accuracy; forecast expenses and revenue, flag variances and reconcile financial results after events.
  • Partner with Sales to ensure a smooth client transition and identify thoughtful opportunities to expand the event experience and revenue.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors, clarify ownership and deadlines, and keep stakeholders informed as plans change.
  • Lead on site execution, troubleshoot in real time and uphold venue standards, safety requirements and an exceptional guest experience.
  • Capture client and team feedback, recommend process improvements and help strengthen the consistency and efficiency of the department.


Qualifications:
  • Seven or more years of experience in event management, client services or hospitality, with demonstrated ownership of complex events.
  • Proven experience managing high-touch, large scale events with more than 1,000 attendees. Experience at a stadium, arena, convention center, hotel, resort or comparable venue is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, financial tracking and the ability to create, maintain and interpret event budgets and cost sheets.
  • Strong understanding of event financials, including pricing, cost control, forecasting, billing, reconciliation and event profitability.
  • Ability to manage several complex events at once while maintaining careful attention to details, deadlines and client relationships.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgment and confidence working with senior clients, partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Google Workspace and CRM or event management software.
  • Ability to work on site at Oracle Park, including evenings and weekends as the event calendar requires. Regular and predictable attendance is required.


$80,000 - $90,000 a year

At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $80,000 to $90,000 plus Incentives, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and other factors the San Francisco Giants consider relevant to the hiring decision.
