Your Impact- Develop and refine engineering and construction drawings for a variety of land development projects.
- Create plans, profiles, and detailed 3D civil models using Civil 3D.
- Interpret and integrate municipal and regulatory standards into design solutions.
- Prepare supporting technical documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentation ready tables.
- Produce, modify, and quality check design drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support construction activities through site reviews and coordination with contractors.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Contribute to environmentally responsible project planning through thoughtful design approaches.
The Skills That Set You Apart- A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or an equivalent field.
- 8-10 years of hands on experience in land development design within Alberta and familiarity with municipal processes.
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, familiarity with platforms like ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Procore, or SharePoint is an asset with a strong commitment to continuous learning.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Excel for design calculations.
- Experience in field or construction environments is an asset.
- Creative problem solver with exceptional attention to detail.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliably insured vehicle.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with engineers and interdisciplinary project teams.
CompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
