Job DescriptionOur team is responsible for growth and success of the regional channel. This is a high growth team with high visibility. Working with regional channel partners, this team markets, evangelizes, enables, and sells products into Fortune 500 customers.
Partner with the bestYou will work in partnership with account teams to sell Akamai products. You'll execute plans for success, pipeline new and existing accounts, business development, strategic selling, marketing and enablement.
As a Senior Channel Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying, developing, and closing business at new and existing customers
- Creating alignment with partners and Akamai's field teams
- Creating and managing a sales pipeline with forecast accuracy
- Delivering joint value proposition through in-person meetings, conference calls, sales activities, trainings, and other events
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams of sales engineers to ensure successful consultative engagements with partners and customers

- *Have 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
- Have ability to travel to partner meetings and events as needed
- Demonstrate proven successful sales track record and quota achievement
- Have experience with channels sales management in Cybersecurity
- Have business development or sales experience with channel partners
- Possess excellent negotiation, solution-selling, presentation, verbal and written skills
CompensationAkamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $208,600 - $375,400/year; a candidate's OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
