Full Job Description
The Senior Channel Development Professional supports the development and execution of sales readiness strategies for single or multiple lines of business targeting specific business segments. The Senior Channel Development Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Channel Development Professional develops and delivers sales readiness materials to drive program effectiveness and support business performance. Provides data-driven insights and reporting to improve associate readiness, effectiveness, and execution. Identifies key areas of improvement through trend and utilization analysis and recommends solutions that enhance sales knowledge, product understanding, customer engagement, and performance outcomes.

Collaborates closely with business leaders, operational partners, and subject matter experts to identify sales readiness needs and ensure effective, strategic, and competitive enablement programs. Supports the development and maintenance of resources, job aids, communications, and training materials that prepare associates to successfully execute business priorities and initiatives.

Monitors readiness metrics, participation, and performance trends to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, Training, or a related field
  • 2 - 4 years' experience managing large- to mid-scale projects
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting performance, operational, and sales readiness-related trends
  • Experience supporting sales readiness, sales enablement, training initiatives, employee enablement, or organizational effectiveness activities
  • Ability to analyze data and develop recommendations to improve program effectiveness and business outcomes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer and employee experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare services
  • Experience with sales readiness strategy, sales enablement, organizational effectiveness, change management, or performance consulting
  • Knowledge of competency models, readiness assessment methodologies, performance measurement, and adoption strategies

Additional Information

This position may require travel 1-2 times a year.

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$86,300 - $118,700 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
