POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking aseasoned and dynamic Senior Capture Manager with demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale capture efforts and driving business development strategies within Federal Government Civilian Agencies. This role requires a proven track record in coordinating complex pursuits, building capture teams, and delivering winning strategies. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead capture efforts, pursuits, and solution architecture across multiple business lines, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance and insight to executives on solution shaping, opportunity positioning, and strategy development.
- Foster strong business relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive alignment and collaboration.
- Guide executives in strategic decision-making, leveraging data-driven insights.
- Maintain a robust win/loss ratio by developing and executing effective capture strategies.
- Collaborate with business development and operations leads to create, mature, and implement capture strategies.
- Lead the development of Capture Win Strategies, ensuring their execution aligns with organizational goals.
- Plan and execute capture activities 12-18+ months ahead of RFP releases while also supporting short-term capture opportunities as needed.
- Provide insights and competitive analysis to optimize MCI92s positioning in the market.
- Design and deploy value propositions, win themes, and differentiators to strengthen proposal strategies.
- Contribute to pricing strategy discussions and implement data-driven recommendations.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, leveraging teaming, hiring, and other strategies.
- Oversee the development of responses to RFIs, DRFPs, and RFPs in collaboration with proposal and operations teams.
- Manage teaming partner agreements, NDAs, and data calls to ensure contractual alignment and readiness.
- Identify and secure Key Personnel and align resources with opportunity requirements.
- Vet past performance records and manage inputs for proposals to ensure compliance and quality.

- Bachelor92s degree in a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in Federal capture management and business development.
- Extensive experience working with Federal Departments and Agencies, such as Treasury (IRS, BFS), FDIC, SEC, Education (FSA), Commerce (Census), Energy, Justice, State, Transportation, and Labor.
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to lead teams and work collaboratively across departments.
- Superior organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in pricing models and execution strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 and other relevant tools.
- Skilled negotiator with a strategic mindset and sound decision-making abilities.
- Ability to navigate matrixed environments and work under uncertainty.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in shaping and influencing Federal procurement opportunities.
- Strong ability to drive collaboration between diverse teams, including operations, recruiting, and proposals.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant proposals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
