POSITION: Senior Business Specialist
LOCATION: Stafford, VA
STATUS: Full time - Contingent Hire - Remote
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or similar field of study required.
• Experience: Eight (8) years of specialized experience in Government purchase card or simplified acquisition and managing and directing DoD projects and programs.
• Citizenship and Clearance: U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Work Schedule: Remote
• Skills: Must have extensive experience supporting acquisition programs & management environments in DoD & DON. Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Familiarity: Must be familiar with the DoD, DON and other federal regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
• Provide support with Government purchase cards and simplified acquisitions.
• Manage and direct DoD projects and programs.
• Administer, maintain e-business systems involved in GCPC payments, delegations, audits and administration.
• Manage business process mapping and documenting internal controls.
• Analyze data to improve metrics.
• Communicate policy, procedures, regulations and program changes, initiatives and other requirements.
• Analyze DoD, DON and other federal regulations and apply requirements to the GCPC program.
