  • Owning and executing our organizational communications strategy and rhythm (including All People Meetings), in close partnership with our communication partners and planners.

  • Designing and improving how we communicate strategy, goals, and progress in a way that translates across our org and demonstrates how our work supports the enterprise strategy.

  • Driving high-impact strategic work by clarifying ambiguous problems and independently executing solutions in a fast-moving, transformational setting

The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and project management capability with structured problem-solving, clear storytelling, and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leadership on organizational artifacts (e.g., key wins, scorecards, workforce views, org presentations) to connect the data to clear narratives for leaders and employees.

  • Own All People Meeting (APM) planning and delivery end-to-end, including storyline, content creation, speaker preparation, logistics, feedback collection, and continuous improvement.

  • Plan and execute large-scale leadership and employee engagement events. Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing, leadership offsites/summits, culture-building sessions, and employee forums

  • Partner with HR and other planners to ensure our leaders receive clear communication and signals on upcoming programs that require awareness and action (ie - performance management cycles, annual required training, etc.).

  • Partner with leadership to ensure our communication strategy supports our senior leadership talent strategy - helping our leaders and employees understand what is expected of them and how we intend to support them all in their growth journey with GM.

  • Partner with leadership and HR partners to analyze our organizational engagement, Workplace of Choice survey results, and other gathered employee insights, helping translate findings into action plans where required.

  • Plan and support connection and recognition moments (e.g., employee spotlights, key wins, forums, listening sessions) that help employees feel connected to their work, the enterprise, and their personal growth.

  • Identify and drive process and operating rhythm improvements that deliver measurable impact, improve how teams work together, or unlock new capabilities.

  • Assist in preparing executive-ready presentations, reports, and briefing materials that tell a cohesive story using both qualitative and quantitative insights.

  • Collaborate with the Program Management Office (PMO) and program teams, as needed, to align storytelling and updates on key initiatives, without duplicating program management responsibilities.
