The Service Fund team at Humana is looking for an experienced individual in Business Intelligence that will be working with large volume datasets and applying their ability to take action with data-driven results. This individual will work with internal and external partners, ensuring deadlines are met and financial transactions are executed with high accuracy. Humana is seeking an individual for the Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst to provide support for its expansion of value-based programs, working heavily with providers and internal Humana teams to achieve success on the Service Fund team. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and valuation of new programs, as well as the maintenance of current programs. 3 Utilizes complex SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Power Automate and/or Power Apps and other technical skills to drive process improvement and assist markets in managing their value-based relationships 3 Conducts research and produces reporting of monthly activity, providing an understanding of how the data reconciles and what it means for current and potential programs 3 Assists in producing reports and completing ad hoc requests using Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and other various analytical tools 3 Provides support for payments to value-based specialists 3 Aids in the evaluation and expansion all value-based programs into new markets and business areas 3 You will be responsible for spearheading use of new technologies Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications 3 2+ years' advanced experience developing complex SQL queries 3 1+ years' experience in Healthcare related data ie. Provider, Insurance, etc. 3 Advanced knowledge of Excel (ex. Pivot tables, Vlookups, formatting etc.) 3 Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations 3 Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership 3 Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Databricks/Unified Data Platform Preferred Qualifications 3 Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field 3 Experience in health insurance related data ie. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $89,000 - $121,400 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
