Position Overview:
The Senior Business Application Support Analyst, Recordkeeping, provides business analysis expertise related to Recordkeeping system applications to the Recordkeeping department. Manage larger and more complex initiatives within the team. Provide guidance, support and leadership to the Business Analysts within the team, and assist the Manager as required.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate meetings, document and distribute meeting minutes and utilize project management skills when necessary;
- Analyzes, defines and documents business requirements for the line of business;
- Analyzes and maps business workflows or processes for process improvement and automation opportunities;
- Provides BA support for development to Recordkeeping applications;
- Executes configuration changes to Business Process Management (workflow) application;
- Executes investment product changes and investment product launches with a strong focus on risk mitigation;
- Independent review of investment product changes and launches;
- Adherence to SOC controls;
- Supports queries about Recordkeeping application functionality;
- Provide statement and confirm management on behalf of the business; track schedule and deliverables for the clients;
- Supports client discussions on the application of existing functionality to meet client business needs;
- Assists with issue resolution related to Recordkeeping applications;
- Provides data queries as required;
- Liaison between business operations and Information Technology;
- Provides general support to the Recordkeeping team, manages stakeholder expectations and relationships.
- Coordinate and participate in business acceptance testing, impact analysis, and the development of policies and procedures;
- Supports and assists the team with all work.
Qualifications:
- University education, or equivalent post-secondary
- Five years of related experience
- Knowledge of the various products within the Mutual Funds and Pooled Funds industry
- Systems knowledge of Unitrax and dCCM, imaging & workflow application
- Working towards completion of an industry recognized certification in Business Analysis
- Canadian Securities Course
- Time management, leadership, organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills
- Build and maintain solid relationships with business and technology partners
- Knowledge of operational procedures and processes
- PC skills (MS Office); business acceptance testing
Job Specific Competencies:
- The salary band for this position ranges between $84,000 - $126,000.
- Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, market conditions, relevant experience, education, training, and internal equity.
