Your role:

In this high visibility role, supporting Baxter’s US business units, you’ll help drive the team’s mission to deliver analytics and insights that drive results and improve business decision making for our internal and external customers. Combining your business knowledge and technical expertise, you’ll own development and deployment of key internal and external performance dashboards to drive commercial excellence for sales and marketing teams.

Our Commercial Analytics and Insights team is all about delivering the right insight, to the right team at the right time. As data continues to play an integral role in all our decision making, the Analytics & Insights team is working tirelessly to make big data easy to consume.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building, maintaining and enhancing dashboards that translate business needs into actionable reporting and insights for sales, marketing and leadership teams.

  • Creating and managing data flows that bring together multiple data sources, ensuring outputs are accurate, consistent and easy to use for business decision making.

  • Supporting Sales and Marketing teams with performance reporting, customer targeting, market intelligence, sales manager tools and other analytics solutions that improve visibility to key business drivers.

  • Partnering cross-functionally with teams across Baxter to understand reporting needs, clarify requirements, align on priorities and deliver analytics solutions that support business objectives.

  • Supporting Incentive Compensation reporting for the sales organization, including scorecards, measurements, performance tracking and reporting used to monitor execution and results.

  • Developing content that increases visibility to data, analytics and insights, helping stakeholders understand trends, identify opportunities and make decisions that drive business results.

  • Creating materials, presentations, dashboards, scorecards and measurement frameworks for internal audiences to communicate performance, validate key metrics and track progress against strategic priorities.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate recurring work and strengthen the quality, accessibility and impact of analytics deliverables.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements, scalable dashboard solutions and actionable reporting outputs.

  • Hands-on experience designing, developing and maintaining dashboards that make complex data easy to understand for sales, marketing and leadership teams.

  • Strong technical foundation in data visualization, data modeling, data validation and reporting best practices, with attention to accuracy, usability and performance.

  • Ability to work with stakeholders to clarify requirements, ask thoughtful questions, identify gaps and recommend practical analytics solutions.

  • Self-motivated and proactive learner who takes ownership of deliverables, independently builds new technical skills and continuously looks for ways to improve processes and outputs.

  • Comfortable troubleshooting data issues, validating outputs and partnering with technical and business teams to resolve questions quickly and effectively.

  • Working knowledge of Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx, SQL, Cognos, Javelin, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Experience with predictive or prescriptive analytics, automation or machine learning concepts preferred.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80 000 - $110 000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
