Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst to support enterprise Business Intelligence initiatives by translating business requirements into data-driven solutions. This role requires an experienced Business Intelligence professional with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will lead BI projects, develop reporting requirements, create wireframes and specifications, and leverage Power BI and SQL to deliver actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Business Intelligence projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and reporting requirements through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Create wireframes, mockups, functional specifications, and requirements documentation to support BI solution development.
• Develop and present findings, recommendations, and project updates to business and technical stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and validate reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting using SQL and data visualization tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver scalable Business Intelligence solutions.
• Provide strategic recommendations and analytical insights to support business decision-making.
• Balance business objectives with technical requirements to deliver effective BI solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the reporting lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, documentation, and business analysis methodologies.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or Business Analyst with a focus on Business Intelligence and data visualization projects.
• Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Proven experience creating wireframes, mockups, functional specifications, and requirements documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI for report and dashboard development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Experience with data visualization concepts and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strategic mindset with a consultative approach to solving business challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting Business Intelligence initiatives within supply chain, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial industries.
• Experience leading enterprise BI projects from requirements gathering through solution delivery.
• Familiarity with data governance, reporting best practices, and business process improvement initiatives.
