Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong experience building Java-based, high-volume and high-transaction e-commerce applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Java, Spring, REST services, and modern backend technologies, along with experience working in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments. The role requires strong organization, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality application solutions while meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
• Build and enhance high-volume, high-transaction Java-based e-commerce applications.
• Develop web applications and backend services using Java, Spring, and REST.
• Design and implement RESTful services and integrations to support enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain application services using Spring and MuleSoft.
• Work with Groovy for application development and automation as required.
• Design and work with NoSQL data technologies, including Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Develop and optimize search capabilities using Apache Solr.
• Implement event-driven and messaging solutions using Kafka, MQ, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
• Utilize caching technologies such as Redis and Hazelcast to improve application performance and scalability.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in application delivery activities across the development lifecycle.
• Use Git for source control and collaborate through established development workflows.
• Support CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins.
• Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to performance, reliability, and scalability improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting tight project deadlines.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution development activities.
• Track and manage work using tools such as Jira.

Required Qualifications
• 6+ years of related professional experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in application delivery and/or building Java-based high-volume, high-transaction e-commerce applications.
• 4+ years of experience building web applications using Java, Spring, and REST.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring-based application development.
• Experience developing and consuming REST services.
• Experience working in fast-paced and highly collaborative environments.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
