Job Description:Role: Senior Azure Cloud EngineerSalary: $$ plus Bonus potential (6%-10%)
Location: 775 Ridge Lake Boulevard; Memphis, TN - 100% Onsite - Relocation is acceptable, with tentative assistance available as needed.
Engagement: No form of sponsorship or work accommodation is being considered.
Summary - Azure represents about 5% of the current environment and this role will focus primarily on IaC, support, and establishing new environments from M&A efforts. A dedicated Security resource was recently added to the team for that is less of a priority.
- The direction is to transition the existing Azure environment to AWS within 2 to 3 years, so any familiarity is helpful.
- Terraform expertise is important while some Data Engineering experience is preferred
- Effective communication skills with local teams and via phone with the St. Louis operation are crucial.
- The hiring manager highly values professional certifications.
Requirements - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
- Proficiency in Azure with working knowledge of AWS.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation and Azure Resource Manager.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Instances).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certifications preferred.
