Senior Controller - Murgado Automotive Group | Miami, FLWe are seeking an experienced Senior Controller to provide financial leadership, strengthen controls, and support operational performance across multiple dealerships at our Miami Campus.
Key Responsibilities- Lead month-end close and financial reporting.
- Maintain balance sheet integrity and oversee critical reconciliations.
- Manage and develop dealership accounting teams.
- Partner with General Managers to improve profitability and control expenses.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with OEM requirements, audits, and internal controls.
- Drive process improvements and reporting automation using Tekion and Excel.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of automotive dealership accounting experience.
- Controller or Senior Controller experience in a multi-store environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, OEM accounting, floorplan financing, and dealership operations.
- Proven leadership, communication, and process improvement skills.
- Tekion experience preferred.
