A Brief Overview Provides a continuum of audiology services that include the prevention, identification, diagnosis, consultation and treatment of patients with hearing or communication impairments. May participate in teaching, program development and/or other advanced Audiologists duties. Serves as a role model for junior level staff and students.

Qualifications: Education - Doctorate Degree in Audiology (AuD or PhD) (Required)
Work Experience - 3+ years of full-time equivalent experience. (Required) and
- 1+ years of experience in a medical setting with adult and pediatric patients. (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities - Fundamental knowledge and the ability to apply the principles and practices related to Audiology, appropriate to the developmental or chronological age of patients on caseload. (Required proficiency)
- Advanced expertise and demonstrated ability is in one or more of the following areas: programming & dispensing digital hearing aids, OAEs, ENGs, ABRs, ECOGs, VEMPS, Cochlear implant programming and management. (Required proficiency)
- Possess the ability and demeanor to teach, communicate and role model advanced clinical skills to the benefit of patients, co-workers, residents and students. (Required proficiency)
Licenses and Certifications - ABA Certification (Preferred)
- Licensed by the State of Ohio to practice Audiology or eligible for state licensure. (Required) and
- Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A). (Required)
