Job Description:

  • Provides image science expertise to conduct image/product quality analysis associated with collection and processing for dissemination, archival, exploitation and display of digital imagery.


  • Assess utility of image processing routines and advanced algorithms operating on today's baseline and emerging remote sensing systems.


  • Investigates, analyzes and provides solutions to complex problems encountered by engineering services and quality control using standard engineering practices.


  • Authors technical documents and presentations.


Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a master's degree Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field or have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $76,500 - $141,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
