Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

This individual will play a critical cross-functional role supporting the Private Debt business, leading financial analysis and planning efforts, while working closely with the Tax team to incorporate tax considerations into reporting and ensure the business has clear, actionable tax visibility.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with expertise in both financial planning and tax, capable of managing complex data, delivering actionable insights, and driving process improvement. This position will work closely with senior leadership, including the CFO, EVP & VP of FP&A and act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Planning & Analysis (Approx. 60%):
  • Support the delivery and ongoing enhancement of monthly reporting and analysis
  • Analyze financial performance, including budget vs. actuals and key business drivers
  • Assist with quarterly close processes, including accruals and allocations
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
  • Contribute to improving operating P&L processes and reporting efficiency
  • Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools

Tax Forecasting & Strategy (Approx. 40%):
  • Maintain and enhance quarterly tax forecasting and estimation processes
  • Develop reporting to track partner allocations over time and ensure alignment between taxable income and cash distributions
  • Support process improvements through automation and best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency

COMPETENCIES:
  • Strong analytical and modeling capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working with executives and third-party service providers.
  • High attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership presence, with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience with corporate and partnership tax concepts and IRS compliance.

  • Familiarity/Nice to have with financial and reporting systems such as NetSuite, Investran, Anaplan, Concur, SQL, and Snowflake.

This role will interview candidates for both our Boston and New York offices.

For Massachusetts: The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$150,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
