Full Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Structured Finance to join our Structured Finance group in our Structured Finance practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and model complex financialstructures such as reverse engineering of cash flow, waterfall payments, includingpayment rules, interest calculations and trigger effects
  • Work on financial risk managementadvisory and audit engagements related to financial instrument valuations andcash flow analysis of fixed income, structured products, solar tax equity technicalaccounting applications, and whole loan portfolio
  • Analyze and assess risk managementactivities related to investment portfolios, liquidity sources, accountingchanges, and new regulations related to the SEC's Regulation AB II criteria.
  • Review, validate, and developfinancial cash flow models including mortgage (MBS) and asset-backed securities(ABS), collateralized debt obligation (CDO), collateralized loan obligations(CLO), auction rate securities, residual assets, mortgage-servicing assets(MSR), and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS)
  • Review operational risk management,internal control policies and procedures including GAP analysis, includingwarehouse facilities.
  • Perform compliance testing relatedto various client financing agreements with investment banks, securities issuers,regulators, government agencies, and investors
  • Provide detail analysis andreporting for securities and investors looking at Green Bonds, Social Bonds,Sustainability Linked Notes.
  • Perform attestation and frameworkadvisory services related to the principals of Green Bonds, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) andSustainable Finance as the market continues develop complex frameworks thatrequire KPMG's attestation and procedures.
  • Utilize technology as well asAI-enabled tools to improve automation efforts, improve workflows and leverageKPMG licenses with software that includes Claude Code, Loveable, Co-Pilot,Mistral, etc.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum three years of recent relevant experiencein the financial services industry, structured finance, mortgage banking,corporate finance, trustee payment operations, rating agency or advisoryservices; minimum four years of recent experience in fixed income analysis
  • Bachelor'sdegree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate field
  • Strongcurrent knowledge in one of the following: United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) financialreporting issues, bankruptcies, business combinations or financial restatementsalong with programming and modeling experience related to structured finance ishighly preferred, particularly Intex, Bloomberg and/or Imake modeling tools
  • Demonstratedability to connect with senior executives of leading organizations to generatenew business relationships and projects
  • Willingnessand ability to travel
  • Mustbe authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visasponsorship now or in the future.
