Full Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Asset Manager to join our Servicing and Asset Management team, based in our Warrenton, Virginia office. The Senior Asset Manager will be responsible for managing all asset management functions of FHA Healthcare loans. The successful candidate is self-motivated and has a strong knowledge of FHA and Ginnie Mae policies, procedures, and guidelines. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage all asset management functions for FHA Healthcare loans, including the review and analysis of underwriting assumptions, management or operator changes, Master Lease Agreements, and accounts receivable requests. • Process all borrower- and operator-initiated consent requests in a timely and compliant manner. • Oversee collections activities and special servicing requirements for delinquent and defaulted loans. • Prepare and submit all required agency reporting in accordance with regulatory and investor guidelines. • Administer loan payoff requests and coordinate the payoff process from initiation through completion. • Collect, review, and spread quarterly operating statements to support ongoing portfolio monitoring. • Prepare Risk Memorandums and Action Plans, as needed, to address identified credit or operational concerns. • Conduct financial statement analysis and assign risk ratings to evaluate asset performance and credit quality. • Administer non-critical repair escrows and replacement reserve accounts, ensuring compliance with loan requirements. Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required: • Minimum of six (6) years of asset management experience, preferably within healthcare real estate lending. • Comprehensive knowledge of HUD servicing requirements and regulatory compliance standards. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting time-sensitive deadlines. • Strong analytical, financial, and quantitative skills, with the ability to assess complex financial data and identify key risks. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with borrowers, operators, agency representatives, and internal stakeholders. • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. • Familiarity with CMS programs and analytical tools preferred, but not required.
