  • Strong communication and storytelling: Translate data into clear, compelling insights that influence decisions at all levels
  • Curiosity for technology: Actively explore and apply emerging tools (e.g., AI, analytics, automation) to improve portfolio outcomes

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and lead implementation of new tools, processes, and ways of working
  • Drive continuous improvement of portfolio planning, reporting, and performance management processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and speed
  • Leverage emerging technologies (including AI and data analytics) to enhance forecasting, prioritization, and performance measurement
  • Design and deliver dashboards, reporting, and visualizations that provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps and implement solutions aligned with portfolio objectives
  • Support scenario modeling, forecasting, and investment planning to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation
  • Translate data into insights that support proactive portfolio decisions, including investment prioritization and response to new demands
  • Contribute to the development of a clear, unified narrative for Gas IT portfolio performance aligned with the broader US IT strategy
  • Support rate case development and ongoing tracking with accurate, timely analysis and reporting
  • Prepare high-quality materials and insights for senior leadership and governance forums
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices, and apply them to continuously evolve portfolio capabilities
  • Lead or support special initiatives that advance portfolio strategy, operational efficiency, and performance outcomes

Qualifications

  • Combines analytical rigor with a builder mindset
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and driving structure
  • Demonstrates a track record of improving processes or implementing new tools
  • Naturally curious and stays ahead of emerging technologies
  • Influences without authority and builds strong cross-functional relationships

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in portfolio analysis, financial planning, business analytics, or related roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to optimize and automate complex processes using technology solutions.
  • Strong creative thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams.
