Role Overview:

The Senior Analyst, HR Operations, will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the daily operations of the HR Operations team. This person will support the effective administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and assisting employees with their benefits needs. You will analyze trends, prepare reports, and collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, you will play a key role in onboarding and offboarding employees to ensure a quality employee experience.

Role Responsibilities:

Benefits Operations:
  • Administrate benefits plans, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to employees with benefits-related inquiries and resolve escalated benefit issues.
  • Update and organize benefits-related documentation, such as plan descriptions, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Create and update benefit plan descriptions, handbooks, and training programs.
  • Assist with benefits-related reporting and data analysis, including preparing reports for senior leadership and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Partner with benefit providers to resolve claims issues, billing discrepancies, and other benefits-related matters.
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring benefit plans adhere to federal and state regulations, such as ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
  • Provide support or lead projects, such as open enrollment, process improvements, system updates, and audits.
  • Update Internal Processes to respond to evolving compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Research and analyze current benefits trends to estimate their impact on the organization.
  • Conduct benefit surveys to identify trends and ensure competitiveness.
  • Other duties as required.


HR Operations:
  • Own the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
  • Maintain onboarding materials, assist with orientation sessions, and coordinate with various departments to ensure all necessary resources are in place for new employees.
  • Own the offboarding process, ensuring departing employees have a smooth exit experience.
  • Ensure all employee records are up-to-date and accurately documented. Provide training and support to employees on the use of HRIS tools and systems. Generate and analyze HR data reports to inform decision-making and identify trends.
  • Generate HR reports using tools such as Excel, Workday, and ADP.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Maintain HRIS systems for efficiency and accuracy, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
  • Lead or participate in HR-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with firm goals.
  • Administer and track all leave of absence programs.
  • Support our employees through the offboarding process, including benefit transitions.
  • Other duties as required.


Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations and Benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS and benefits management systems.
  • Excellent understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ADP Workforce Now required and Workday HCM experience is preferred.
  • Works effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals, contributing ideas openly while respecting diverse perspectives.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
