Description

Fully Remote (U.S. Only): This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary.

Position Overview

This position will assist in the development and execution of strategic efforts around M&A, capital markets, special projects, organic growth opportunities and business development in alignment with the board, CoCEOs/CFO and the executive team. The position will have direct communication with Senior Management and regular direct interaction with the CFO.

Knowledge and Application:
  • Work directly with the Managers and Directors of Corporate Development in identifying and prioritizing strategic initiatives, shaping strategy and identifying areas of M&A focus
  • Assist in refining and executing the processes and analytical framework for analyzing M&A opportunities
  • Display strong work ethic with ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment in a structured and organized manner

Complexity and Problem Solving:
  • Research and analyze high priority strategic markets, including industry mapping and deep dives into targeted M&A and partnership opportunities
  • Ad hoc analyses and financial modeling
  • Assist cross-functional efforts to analyze and execute capital markets activities

Discretion and Impact:
  • Be proactive and take initiative while being conscious of team alignment, thoughtful planning and required input into decision-making
  • Driven, results oriented mindset with a history of perseverance and passion for achieving goals

Collaboration and Interaction:
  • Partner with and drive cross-functional efforts in all phases of M&A execution including diligence, business case creation, financial modeling, and integration
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to prepare board and/or executive level strategic and financial presentations

Education and Experience

Required
  • Bachelor's degree: Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of highly relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, or transaction services, with demonstrated exposure to M&A transactions
  • Direct experience supporting M&A execution, including diligence, financial modeling, and deal analysis
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including building operational, acquisition, and pro forma models independently
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced, high-judgment environment

Preferred
  • Exposure to public equity or debt capital markets
  • Software or tech transaction experience
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of the software or technology sector

Physical requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
  • Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.

The base pay range for this position is $79,700- $120,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
