Opportunity Overview:

PartsBase is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to own and strengthen the security of its cloud, applications, and corporate environments. This role combines deep security engineering expertise with advanced AI and Claude experience, requiring someone who can build AI-driven security automations, identify and prioritize risks, and personally remediate issues across AWS infrastructure, servers, and application code. The ideal candidate brings extensive security leadership experience, strong coding skills, and expert-level AWS knowledge.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage the overall security posture across cloud, applications, and corporate systems.
  • Build and maintain AI-powered security agents that aggregate, analyze, and prioritize security threats.
  • Lead incident response activities, including investigation, remediation, and communication.
  • Remediate security issues directly within AWS, application code, and infrastructure.
  • Develop automations and workflows to improve threat detection and remediation efficiency.
  • Manage vulnerability scanning, patching, dependency security, and compliance readiness.
  • Secure AI and LLM implementations, including agent permissions, prompt security, and data protection.
  • Conduct threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Partner with Engineering, DevOps, IT, and Product teams to embed security into development processes.
  • Provide security reporting, executive-level risk communication, and audit support.


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Incident Response experience.
  • Expertise with Claude, Claude Code, AI agents, MCP servers, APIs, and AI automation workflows.
  • Experience designing and deploying production-grade AI agent systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and .NET (C#).
  • Expert knowledge of AWS security services, networking, IAM, infrastructure, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD security, server hardening, and SIEM platforms.
  • Deep understanding of application security, vulnerability management, and security frameworks (NIST, CIS, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • Knowledge of AI-specific security risks, including prompt injection and data leakage.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical risks for business stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Aviation, aerospace, defense industry experience and Azure/GCP exposure are a plus.
