Full Job Description
The GEN AI Hub's goal is to accelerate Desjardins General Insurance Group (DGIG)'s adoption of emerging generative AI technologies by acting as a centre of innovation, expertise and governance in compliance with Desjardins governance documents on those technologies. Its goal is to explore and anticipate technological trends to prepare the organization for the rapid development of AI tools, while supporting the cultural shift and operational transformation. It does this by developing the skills of our teams; industrializing practices (acceptance testing, frameworks, guides and AI agents) to ensure that uses of AI are replicable and scalable; creating a collaborative ecosystem via communities of practice, adoption pathways and workshops; and maximizing the value of generative AI technologies in business and IT processes, in alignment with the organizational strategy. As Senior Advisor, Generative AI Technology Adoption and Integration, you'll play a key role in designing and developing practical solutions powered by generative AI. You'll be required to write and structure effective prompts, configure, test and develop AI agents and specialized assistants, and contribute to the development of solutions in environments including Agent Builder, Copilot Studio, Cowork and other relevant tools. You'll need to balance your technical skills with a strong ability to simplify complex information, provide training, and support users to make it easy for teams to adopt solutions sustainably and integrate them into their workflows. In other words, you'll help transform the Hub's ideas into usable, relevant solutions that are aligned with DGIG's priorities. More specifically, you will be required to :
  • Design and develop generative AI solutions tailored to business and technology needs, taking into account the context of use
  • Define user journeys, operating rules, knowledge sources and validation mechanisms as needed to deploy reliable, high-performance solutions
  • Document lessons learned, design choices and best practices to promote the reuse and scaling of solutions
  • Identify, analyze and prioritize high-potential opportunities by evaluating their business value, feasibility and complexity, as well as the associated risks
  • Work with business sectors and multidisciplinary teams to translate needs into practical solutions that generate productivity and efficiency gains
  • Plan and support the implementation of solutions, including documentation, communications, training and post-deployment assistance
  • Design and facilitate training, support and adoption activities to promote optimal, sustainable use of generative AI tools
  • Simplify concepts related to generative AI, AI agents, prompts and automation for diverse audiences, in French and English
  • Contribute to change management and help facilitate a community of practice, while measuring adoption, benefits realized and opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor emerging technologies and contribute to the development of practices, guides and methodologies that promote the consistent, sustainable and secure use of generative AI
