The Senior Accounting Analyst, Revenue Manager Operations is responsible for supporting the operational, accounting, and analytical functions associated with the Revenue Manager platform across multiple Care Delivery Organizations (CDOs). This role serves as the primary accounting subject matter expert for Revenue Manager processes and is responsible for leading financial validation, issue resolution, account reconciliations, process standardization, implementation support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The position partners closely with Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Technology, and Implementation teams to ensure the accurate processing of revenue-related activities, timely resolution of system and accounting issues, and successful adoption of Revenue Manager capabilities. The role requires solid analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage complex operational and accounting challenges in a dynamic environment.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:Revenue Manager Operations
- Support day-to-day accounting and operational activities related to the Revenue Manager platform
- Monitor Revenue Manager processes and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Investigate and resolve revenue-related accounting, system, and operational issues
- Perform detailed analysis of Revenue Manager transactions and reporting outputs
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Revenue Manager workflows and accounting impacts
- Serve as the primary accounting resource for complex Revenue Manager issues requiring detailed analysis and resolution
- Recommend process and system enhancements to improve financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and scalability
- Analyze the downstream accounting impacts of Revenue Manager configuration changes and operational workflows
Implementation Support
- Lead accounting validation and testing activities associated with Revenue Manager implementations and conversions
- Execute financial validation, testing, and reconciliation activities during implementations
- Assist with go-live readiness planning and post-implementation stabilization efforts
- Coordinate issue tracking and resolution activities with cross-functional stakeholders
- Document implementation lessons learned and support process standardization efforts
- Partner with implementation teams to identify accounting risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide accounting guidance and support during implementation design sessions
Financial Controls & Reconciliations
- Prepare and review account reconciliations related to Revenue Manager processes
- Perform root cause analysis for reconciliation variances and system-related accounting issues
- Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to prevent recurring exceptions
- Perform variance analysis and investigate unusual balances or transaction activity
- Support audit requests and documentation requirements
- Assist with the execution and documentation of key controls supporting financial reporting
- Identify and escalate financial and operational risks to leadership
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards to support operational and financial decision-making
- Analyze process performance metrics and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains
- Support reporting initiatives utilizing Tableau, BlackLine, PeopleSoft, and other enterprise tools
- Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
- Assist in developing standardized operating procedures and training materials
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, operational risks, and opportunities for automation
- Lead small- to medium-scale process improvement initiatives supporting Revenue Manager operations
Partnership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Technology, and Finance teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and status updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Support special projects and organizational initiatives related to Revenue Manager operations

Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting, finance, revenue cycle, or healthcare operations experience
- Healthcare revenue accounting experience (e.g. Clinics and Hospitals)
- Experience performing financial analysis, reconciliations, and problem resolution
- Experience working with financial systems and large data sets
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Revenue Manager
- Experience with PeopleSoft, BlackLine, Tableau, Hyperion, Smart View, Snowflake, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting system implementations, testing, or operational transformations
- Experience influencing business partners and driving process improvements across multiple functional areas
- Demonstrated experience investigating and resolving complex accounting or operational issues

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
