About the Opportunity

Natus is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and play an important role in the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting.

This is a hands-on accounting role with exposure well beyond the general ledger. You'll support month-end and year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition, consolidated audits, and international statutory reporting, while partnering with Finance and teams across the business.

You'll also have the opportunity to work within a multinational organization, supporting legal entities in Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong and helping ensure our accounting practices meet both U.S. GAAP and applicable local requirements.

This is a hybrid position based in Florida, with a minimum of two days per week onsite.

What You'll Get to Do

Own Key Accounting & Close Activities
  • Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring financial activity is recorded accurately and on time.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other general accounting entries.
  • Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Use BlackLine to support accurate, timely, and well-documented account reconciliations.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting.
  • Provide financial analysis and support ad hoc accounting and Finance projects.

Support Revenue Recognition
  • Ensure revenue transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
  • Review accounting activity, identify discrepancies, and partner with appropriate teams to resolve issues.
  • Help maintain strong accounting controls and consistent financial reporting practices.

Gain International Accounting Exposure

This role offers the opportunity to work across a global organization and support accounting requirements outside the United States.
  • Support the annual statutory audits for legal entities in Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong.
  • Help ensure compliance with applicable local GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Support the annual consolidated group audit under U.S. GAAP.
  • Work directly with internal and external auditors to provide schedules, documentation, and other requested information.

Partner Across the Business
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance colleagues as well as other business functions.
  • Provide accounting guidance and help resolve financial issues.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders across different functions and geographic locations.
  • Help maintain effective financial controls and processes as the organization evolves.

Help Improve How We Work

We're looking for someone who can manage the details while also seeing opportunities to make accounting processes better.
  • Work within ERP and cloud-based accounting environments.
  • Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and develop practical solutions.
  • Support improvements to accounting processes, controls, and reporting.
  • Take ownership of assignments and follow them through to completion.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation required.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience within a multinational organization.

  • Experience supporting a consolidated annual audit under U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience supporting statutory reporting requirements for international legal entities.
  • Knowledge and practical application of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Experience working in a cloud/SaaS accounting environment.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative, managing priorities, and following through.

  • Experience within a manufacturing organization.
  • Experience with Oracle or a similar ERP system.
  • Experience using BlackLine for account reconciliations.
  • Previous experience working directly with international Finance teams and external auditors.

Pay Transparency:

Pursuant to the requirements of applicable State laws and regulations, the starting salary range for this position is $90-100K USD. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
