Full Job Description
Our well-established and long-time family office and private family foundation in Boise, Idaho is searching for a Senior Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for financial reporting for our multiple-entity organization. You will maintain accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements and perform a full range of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, accounts payable, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting support, and assist with cash and investment management.

This is a lead departmental role without direct supervisory responsibilities. In the role, you will work closely with the accounting team and senior management of the organization. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 7 years' progressive accounting responsibilities
• Experience in closely held business organizations with both GAAP and tax-basis accounting preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills communicating effectively and proactively with individuals at all levels in the organization. Ability to build positive working relationships
• Highly organized and attentive to detail, producing thorough, quality work
• Ability to work individually, critically evaluate and execute process improvements and work as part of a team including leading special projects
