Senior AccountantAs Triumvirate Environmental continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team at our
Corporate Office in Somerville, MA, helping support the increasing needs of our expanding organization.
This role will maintain the general ledger and support the month-end close process, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis, while also supporting fixed assets, revenue recognition, and acquisition integration. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Supervisor and project and branch managers on forecasts, financial analysis, and financial models.
This position reports to the
Accounting Supervisor and will be fully onsite for the first 90 days. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources.
Responsibilities:- Maintain general ledger, prepare and input monthly journal entries, review and explain variances from budget and forecast.
- Coordinate and manage the month-end close process through financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Assist with Fixed Assets Depreciation, ROU under ASC842, prepaid schedules or Treasury depending on company needs.
- Ensure compliance with revenue and expense recognition.
- Assist in preparation of integrated financials from acquired entities, provide analysis and process assistance to acquired entities.
- Ensure monthly WIP/accrual analysis and entry is complete.
- Reconciliation and variance analysis of P&L and B/S accounts.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounting close process.
- Work closely with the Accounting Supervisor in organizing and driving the core GL Team.
- Perform monthly financial reviews of certain service areas to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results.
- Work with project/branch managers and understand financials and assist with preparation of forecasts and various financial models.
Basic Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 4+ years of accounting experience utilizing various accounting methodologies and a background that shows a progression of increasing responsibilities.
- Successful candidate will be deadline oriented, organized, possess strong time-management skills and have strong attention to detail.
- Experience in the service and manufacturing industry preferred.
- Experience with Oracle and/or comparable large-scale ERP systems preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, and proven ability to analyze large data sets required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Experience in acquisition integration a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation

Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.
Pay Range
$90,000-$105,000 USD
