You are:

A performance-driven Contributor who can manage and support the Bank's accounting team. You are a loyal collaborative individual who ensures the success of the Pitney Bowes Bank, Inc. by being proactive in trying new things, asking many questions, and strives to make processes and procedures more efficient and simplified, even if they are not your direct responsibility.

You will:
  • Assist in the month end closing process (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting)
  • Assist with the Bank's unclaimed property process
  • Assist with regulatory reporting (Call report, ALM reporting, etc.)
  • Ensure your work responsibilities are completed efficiently and on time while striving for 100% accuracy and be accountable for your work product.
  • Act as a driving force in helping more junior accounting staff be successful.
  • Additional duties as required


Your background:

As a Senior Accountant you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required;
  • Ability to work as part of a team and in addition contribute independently
  • 2 to 5 years post graduate accounting experience

Preferred
  • 2 to 5 years accounting experience in a bank or similar financial institution
  • Lease Accounting knowledge (ASC842)
  • Bank regulatory reporting (Call report) and ALM reporting experience
  • Payment products (loans and deposits) experience

Compensation:
  • $85,000-$100,000 Per Year w/Benefits.
