Paul Davis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role works closely with the Controller and plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP.

What You'll Do
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform account reconciliations, including cash, vendor credit, and balance sheet accounts.
- Reconcile and record corporate credit card activity.
- Analyze monthly budget variances and provide financial insights.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Help maintain and strengthen internal accounting controls.
- Support annual CPA reviews and audit preparation.
- Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Job Cost Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the Controller on process improvements and special projects.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Bill.com preferred.
