Senior Accountant

Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for general ledger accounting and financial reporting, with a primary focus on Lynx Systems Developers and Nevco Media Group within NetSuite. This position reports to the Director of Accounting and has limited exposure to Made2Manage (Nevco's primary US/Canada ERP), offering ownership of day-to-day accounting for a defined set of entities.
Responsibilities
• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reporting for Lynx Systems Developers and Nevco Media Group
• Prepare and analyze journal entries, income statement, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other financial reports as required
• Support the monthly accounting close cycle, including account reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, and variance analysis
* Provide limited support on cash forecasts and annual budgets as needed
• Ensure books and financials are compliant with GAAP and all other required accounting standards
• Work closely with external auditors, providing requested financial information and supporting documentation
• Take ownership of day-to-day accounting deliverables for assigned entities
• Support the integration of newly acquired entities into accounting processes and reporting
• Identify and help implement process improvements across accounting operations
• Special projects as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or active progress toward CPA preferred
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience required
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred
• Prophix experience preferred
• Experience in a multi-entity, manufacturing, or acquisitive company environment a plus
• Self-motivated with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across departments and with external partners
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)
• In-office position based in Edwardsville, IL
Compensation and Benefits
$70,0000 - $100,000
