Job Summary:
THE ROLEAs a Senior Accountant supporting our Latin America business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting across a dynamic and fast-paced international environment. This position partners closely with regional finance teams to oversee month-end close activities, reconcile complex financial data, and support corporate reporting while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment and is flexible to work extended hours or occasional weekends during peak periods, including month-end close.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO- Ensure Latin America financial reporting complies with US GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal accounting policies.
- Review and reconcile event P&Ls, show settlements, and other financial reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Partner with local finance teams and LATAM accounting teams to support monthly corporate reporting, including balance sheet and income statement reconciliations between third-party systems and corporate financial records.
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries while supporting the monthly close process and meeting critical reporting deadlines.
- Maintain and reconcile complex balance sheet accounts, including monthly IFRS elimination entries and adjustments.
- Maintain internal control policies, assist in audits, and liaise with internal auditors.
- Assist with quarterly reporting requirements, financial analysis, and special projects as assigned.
- Collaborate across international teams to identify process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Support occasional travel to events as needed and maintain flexibility to work evenings or weekends during month-end close, show settlements, or other business-critical periods.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA candidate or CPA strongly preferred, MBA a plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 public accounting firm; entertainment or live events industry experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
- Fluency in Spanish is required; Portuguese language skills are a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and producing high-quality work.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across international teams.
- Experience managing projects and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Oracle and/or SAP is preferred.
- Willingness to work extended hours and occasional weekends during month-end close, financial reporting cycles, and event settlement periods to meet business needs.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$76,000.00 USD - $95,000.00 USD
