Senior Accountant plays a key role in managing financial reporting, technical accounting, and compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial statements, driving continuous process improvements, and providing strategic financial insights to leadership. Our Finance & Accounting team is instrumental in driving financial strategy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee and lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure compliance with IFRS, and corporate policies.
- Manage key accounting functions, including revenue recognition, royalties, intangibles, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, consolidations, etc.
- Ensure adequate financial control exists over company assets, obligations and adherence to company procedures. Address control weaknesses and respond appropriately to a changing business environment. Initiate and maintain Standard Operating Procedures to address internal controls.
- Support leadership in financial audits, risk assessments, and external reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and strategic initiatives.
- Mentor and develop junior accounting team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Education, Experience and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
- Deep expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls and GAAP/IFRS compliance.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and data analytics tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, business acumen, and ability to communicate financial insights to leadership.
- Experience in process improvement, automation, and system implementations.
What We OfferThe salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
