Senior Accountant
We are seeking to hire a
Senior Accountant for a fully-remote role within our finance department supporting multiple senior living facilities throughout the United States.
- This is a fully remote job.
- $80K to $100K annually based on skills and experience.
Senior AccountantQualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 3-5 years accounting experience within the healthcare industry.
- Direct experience working within a Skilled Nursing facility is preferred.
- Experience with a multi-facility finance department with specific experience filing external reporting to banks, SEC., preferred.
- CPA is preferred.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office programs especially Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to be detailed oriented and organized.
Senior Accountant Job Summary:- Create monthly, quarterly, annual Financial Reports for internal and external parties.
- Create Financial Reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for several facilities.
- Provide trend variances, budget variances and reasons for the discrepancies.
- Review monthly financials with Healthcare Management.
- Determine methods for reducing cost with operations.
- Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations during the audit process.
- Assist the Director of Risk Management in insurance reporting and annual renewal process.
- Create monthly and ad hoc analysis.
