WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting packages for executive leadership and the foreign parent company.
Own inventory and machine cost accounting, including landed costs, freight capitalization, margin analysis, and profitability by machine, parts, and service.
Oversee intercompany accounting and revenue recognition for multi-period, plant-scale projects, including percentage-of-completion accounting.
Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash flow planning, variance analysis, and product or segment margin analysis.
Manage banking relationships, liquidity, daily cash management, and coordination of federal, state, and sales/use tax filings with external advisors.
Ensure appropriate accounting for imports, tariffs, and customs costs in partnership with operations.
Maintain internal controls and documented accounting processes while serving as the functional owner for ERP improvements and continuous process improvement.
Provide senior guidance to the Accountant and serve as the primary finance contact for external advisors, banks, auditors, and global parent leadership.

Experience with percentage-of-completion/project accounting, WIP, and multi-period projects strongly preferred.
Experience with intercompany accounting and transactions involving a foreign parent company strongly preferred.
CPA or MBA preferred, with strong communication skills and the ability to work hands-on while confidently advising senior leadership.
