Work Schedule: | Full-Time | Fully On-SitePosition Summary We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join a lean, operationally focused manufacturing environment. This role offers real ownership of the accounting function - not a transactional seat. Depending on experience, the position may be structured as a Senior Accountant with a clear path to management, or filled directly at the Accounting Manager level. Either way, the expectation is the same: someone who can own the close, understand the financials deeply, and bring structure and continuous improvement to the team.
Responsibilities - Own or co-lead the full month-end close process with a heavy emphasis on inventory
- Manage inventory accounting, reconciliations, cost of goods sold, and variance analysis
- Prepare and review financial statements with a high degree of accuracy and ownership
- Identify inefficiencies and build tools or processes to improve accuracy and reduce close time
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and other departments in a hands-on manufacturing setting
- Support additional accounting needs as the function continues to grow and mature
Qualifications Required - Prior experience in a manufacturing or inventory-intensive accounting environment
- Strong working knowledge of month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Hands-on, self-directed work style - comfortable taking ownership with minimal oversight
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
Preferred - Exposure to cost accounting, standard costing, or plant-level accounting
- Experience with variance analysis and operational reporting
- Prior experience in or appetite for a leadership or management role
