POSITION OVERVIEW

As a key contributor in financing and credit, you will leverage your relationship strengths and business acumen to maintain an existing client portfolio and build strong relationships. Your main goal will be to impact the success of entrepreneurs with revenues between $3M and $50M through our tailored financing solutions and advisory services. CHALLENGES TO BE MET

In a typical week, you would:

  • Meet with entrepreneurs, clients and prospects, and discuss the specifics of their business in order to identify the issues, provide them with advice and identify, if applicable, a BDC service offering appropriate to their needs;
  • Deliver a marketing plan aligned with business centre objectives, ensuring client retention, satisfaction and potential development.
  • Execute your action plan, which is aligned with the Business Centre's objectives ensuring retention, satisfaction of the client portfolio, and the development of their potential.
  • Analyze, negotiate and present financing proposals while exercising credit judgement;
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate borrowers whose satisfaction is one of your priorities. You ensure effective relationship management by ensuring that communications are value-added, segment-specific and personalized.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Do you have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or in a field deemed equivalent?
  • Do you have good financial analysis skills and to interpret financial statements?
  • Do you have a professional accounting designation? If so, this is an major asset.
  • You are passionate about entrepreneurship and have 5 or more years of experience in a similar role with sales objectives as well as good knowledge of the business environment in your region?
  • You are known for your canvassing, your listening skills and ability to identify the issues and business needs of entrepreneurs?
  • Your clients and business relations remember you because of the accuracy of your advice, your proactivity and your outstanding customer service?
  • You are rigorous and organized in the management of your portfolio and in the implementation of your marketing plan. Efficient in your business development, by implementing strategies.
  • Are you a team player who builds effective and lasting relationships with your peers, business contacts and external partners?
