Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
Senior Channel Account Executive to join our team and manage the relationship with our Distribution Partner, Vertex Wireless. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in channel management, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of business operations and market dynamics at Distribution.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy in alignment with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Manage ongoing pipeline and inventory,
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at our partners, including executives, sales teams, and account managers.
- Drive revenue growth through the channel by identifying new business opportunities, managing run rate, promoting products and services, and supporting sales efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for channel initiatives.
- Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and insights to internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks within the channel.
- Negotiate and manage partner agreements, pricing, and incentives to maximize mutual profitability and success.
- Lead joint business planning sessions, QBRs, and other strategic meetings to drive mutual growth and success.
- Mentor and support funded Head resources, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner forums to promote the brand and build relationships within the channel ecosystem.
Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in channel management, preferably with direct experience with Vertex Wireless or similar large channel partners.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through channel partnerships and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of technology products and services, particularly in the IT industry. Mobility products a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to travel up to 30%

IllinoisThe salary range for this role, for candidates based in Illinois, is expected to be between $138,000 and $163,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
