Summary
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive – New Installation to drive field sales growth and manage key customer relationships. In this role, you will represent the company’s portfolio, expand market presence, and build strong business partnerships to maximize sales performance within your territory.
This role operates on a hybrid schedule and is located in the Charlotte, NC metro area.
Job Description
- Proactively identifies prospective opportunities for existing accounts and prospects and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggests products and/or services that meet the customer needs.
- Conducts business development activities for existing accounts and prospects within defined segments to support the business strategy.
- Identifies bid opportunities, participates in the preparation of bid responses and the negotiation with potential customers.
- Develops new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
- Proactively supports and develops prospective projects with assigned and prospective customers and presents to sales business development team.
- Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
- Attend trade shows, presents new products to increase the visibility of the organization. Prepares workshops for assigned customers.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage construction tier related relationships within assigned counties.
- Target new design build commercial office, healthcare, critical environments, education, and government sector facilities.
- Produce new customer relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability and willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory, with quarterly overnight travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience selling HVAC Controls.
- Experience in a quota carrying position.
- Demonstrate experience in cultivating new customer relationships.
- Proven experience executing plan and spec projects within the commercial sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including the ability to develop and present high-impact presentations to stakeholders.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.
Other Compensation
Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
