Job Description:

Job Purpose

Drive sales volume and strategic plan for the contractor/pro segment. Create a strategy with input from other functional leaders, including field sales and customer service to drive the Repair & Remodel business. Build regionally targeted strategies and oversee the execution with the creative and media plans to achieve local growth across the Country, including driving homeowner demand. Manage the loyalty programs that support our strategy and business goals and lead a team of marketing associates to assure successful execution.

  • Establish and implement marketing strategy, aligning with leaders across the company, corporate priorities, market positioning, and long-term market needs. Build recommendations to drive accelerated profitable growth in the segment.
  • Define marketing priorities by applying market research, customer data, and competitor analysis. Translate insights into strategic possible effects for marketing decisions.
  • Direct segment marketing activities, provide governance and determine best practices to maximize impact, by guiding prioritization, ensuring scale, and ensuring agreement across the enterprise.
  • Define and communicate our value propositions of our products and brands to drive demand among pros and contractors.
  • Communicate our product value propositions to consumers and homeowners to drive pull through demand.
  • Deliver planned volume and profit targets for each product brand.
  • Lead, our marketing organization. Shape team to support long-term goals. Supervisory responsibilities include setting job objectives, performance measurement and reporting, coaching and personal development.
  • Oversee marketing execution across events, marketing campaigns, and content, aligning activities to priorities and ensuring consistency in delivery. Ensure plan supports our goals.
  • Define, track, and share marketing KPIs, providing visibility into business impact. Monitor marketing ROI and campaign effectiveness, optimizing.
  • Oversee marketing budget and allocate marketing spend based on priorities•
  • Manage segment budget, including direct budget, program budgets across businesses, agency and other strategic partner budgets. Ensure alignment across business and corporate marketing on key initiatives and manage budgets within target. Report budget status and estimates to appropriate stakeholders monthly and quarterly.


What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing management and targeting segments.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and financial skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and keep projects on track.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability.
  • Demonstrated expertise in written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of LP products and features preferred but not required.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 10+ years business experience, including significant amount of sales and/or marketing experience
  • Familiar with the building products industry and/or channel marketing
  • Or any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
  • Understanding of marketing processes, analytics, executive reporting, and market positioning approaches


Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred


Work Environment

  • Hybrid office environment
  • Some travel required for trade shows, events and customer meetings.
