Position Description: Lead a small team of architects/engineers to design secure cloud and enterprise solutions. You will set standards for IAM, segmentation, logging/telemetry, encryption, and automation, ensuring a resilient, telemetry-rich environment that empowers SOC operations.
***This position is located in our Knoxville, TN office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable***
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Define secure architecture across AWS GovCloud and enterprise systems; ensure compliant IAM, network security, and data protection.
. Establish logging/monitoring, telemetry, and integration patterns that enable detections and automation (IaC).
. Lead engineers; own backlog, roadmap, production readiness; enforce change governance.
. Partner with SOC to ensure design decisions support detections, playbooks, and KPIs.
. Deliver centralized, role-based security dashboards; validate architecture and tool configurations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 10+ years in cloud/security architecture; 3+ years leading engineering teams.
. Expertise in IAM, micro-segmentation, CSPM/CWPP, DevSecOps, and automation (Terraform).
. Experience integrating SIEM/SOAR/EDR/DLP/PAM/identity platforms; strong documentation skills.
. Security clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust (or higher per client).
. US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.
Education & Certifications
. Bachelor's; AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP, CCSP preferred.

To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $63,700.00 $139,300.00.
