You Are:
Senior Managers are the delivery and client leadership layer of the Cyber Resilience & Defense practice, responsible for helping our clients improve their capabilities in the SOC to defend against the evolving AI-enabled threat landscape.
They own workstreams or full engagement programs, bring specialized depth in one or more SOC domains, and operate as trusted advisors to senior client stakeholders. Each Senior Manager is expected to engage credibly across adjacent SOC areas and should be able to drive sales opportunities from RFP/RFI to proposals and Statements of Work / staffing plans. Experienced leading client-facing engagements from scoping through delivery, develop and coach manager-level teams, contribute to pursuit activity, and maintain expertise that keeps Accenture's methods current and differentiated. They translate complex defensive security requirements concepts into clear, business-relevant narratives for director and C-suite audiences.
Senior Managers will also contribute to the development of the security operations modernization offerings assets, accelerators, and methodologies to differentiate Accenture Cyber Security. They will train and mentor junior team members on the offering and build a team that can deliver on the new capabilities and scale the offering.
The Work:
Lead end-to-end SOC modernization engagements, from current-state assessment through target-state design, technology selection, and implementation oversight
Develop SOC maturity roadmaps, operating models, staffing models, and playbook frameworks tailored to client environments
Lead and quality-assure threat detection engineering, triage workflow redesign, and metrics/KPI framework development
Oversee integration of SIEM, SOAR, TIP, EDR, NDR, and UEBA platforms as part of broader modernization programs
Implement detection-as-code practices, including authoring and managing Sigma rules, building CI/CD pipelines for detection deployment, and versioning detection logic in source control environments
Work with the project team, team leaders, project delivery leads, and client stakeholders to create cutting edge capabilities powered by technology partners
Build and maintain relationships with technology partners (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Google SecOps) to support go-to-market efforts
Deliver and evolve SOC offerings that incorporate automation and AI to improve our clients’ defensive posture:
Build and scale the SOC modernization offering, including methodologies, toolkits, frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.) and accelerators
Create battle-tested Incident Response (IR) runbooks and facilitate automation using cutting-edge AI capabilities via playbooks and agents
Serving as a trusted advisor, bring your knowledge of LLM-specific attack surfaces, including prompt injection, model poisoning, and data exfiltration vectors, with the ability to advise clients on securing AI systems deployed within the SOC
Define and refine delivery standards to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes across engagements
Develop and mentor senior consultants, managers, and architects on the team
Collaborate with adjacent domains (Cloud Security, Identity, CTEM, AI security) to bring integrated solutions to clients
Develop strong relationships with clients and gain the trust of key advisors
Make the business case for technology solutions recommended to the client
Pitch in on Accenture sales efforts when needed
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
