What do we need

We are seeking a Product Manager to drive feature delivery, product quality, and continuous improvement for scientific solutions built on Dotmatics LUMA, a next-generation, multi-tenant, AI-powered data management and workflow automation platform for multimodal scientific discovery.

In this role, you will partner closely with Application Scientists, engineering, UX, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-quality enhancements and user-centric product features. You will help shape how scientists interact with modern data and workflow systems by owning problem spaces, defining clear requirements, and ensuring that work moves effectively from concept to production.

In this role you will get to
  • Identify, prioritize, and help resolve user-facing issues and functional challenges, incorporating feedback to improve product usability and performance.
  • Test and refine ideas through prototypes, usability feedback, and light experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to inform iterative improvements.
  • Analyze product usage data, customer insights, and market signals to support prioritization and guide product decisions.
  • Write clear, actionable user stories and feature requirements that balance customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Engage regularly with customer-facing teams to understand user workflows and pain points, applying these insights to daily product decisions.
  • Support UX/UI partners by reviewing wireframes and design concepts, ensuring alignment with product standards and design patterns.
  • Independently own delivery of moderately complex features from scoping through release, and support larger initiatives with guidance from senior PMs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, design, and GTM partners to align timelines, clarify requirements, and drive smooth execution.
  • Incorporate customer feedback into product decisions, prioritizing enhancements that address meaningful user needs.
  • Contribute to product strategy discussions by sharing insights, data, and learnings from your feature areas to support roadmap development.

We are looking for people who have 4+ years of SaaS Product Management or related experience and hold a degree or higher in biology. You will bring a strong analytical skills and ability to break down moderately complex problems and explain concepts clearly.

The key skills we are looking for:
  • Familiarity with UX tools (e.g., Figma) and ability to partner effectively with design to support intuitive user flows
  • Scientific or technical product domain, with the ability to independently apply skills across varied situations
  • Demonstrated success contributing to scientific data platforms, workflow tools, ETL, APIs, or data modeling
  • Strong fluency in Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence), with experience driving user stories from backlog to production
  • Strength in writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
  • Ability to manage trade-offs, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to evolving priorities

  • Experience integrating instruments, managing data ingestion pipelines, or working with multi-tenant or modular low-code systems
