Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) during school year [redacted] for our school district partner located near Matteson, IL Job Responsibilities • Provide direct speech language therapy services in alignment with IEP accommodations and goals. • Implement existing IEP goals and collect data to support progress monitoring within a condensed instructional timeframe. • Collaborate with speech pathologists, special education teachers, and related service providers to support student access and participation. • Complete required documentation, daily service logs, and end of session progress summaries in accordance with district timelines. • Support students with mild to intensive communication needs in small group and classroom based settings. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited university required • State of Illinois SLPA License • Prior school based experience preferred. • Strong understanding of IEP implementation and compliance procedures required. Schedule • August- June • Monday-Friday (8:00 am-3:30 pm) • Full- time • Onsite in the south suburbs of Chicago.
