Full Job Description
Position Summary:

As a school-based Speech Language Therapist / Clinical Fellow, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality speech therapy services within an educational setting. You will be responsible for evaluating children across different grade levels, planning interventions, and developing instructional plans tailored to meet their specific functional and educational needs.

General Information
  • Hours: The job follows a standard school schedule (7:30am - 4pm)
    • 5 days per week - 30-40 hours per week
    • Hours per day: 7-8 hours per day
  • Pay Range: $30-$50 per hour

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseload
  • Document, monitor, analyze, and report students' progress and effects of treatment regularly in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures.
  • Conduct educationally relevant evaluations and report findings within Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs)
  • Write educationally relevant therapy goals and relevant student information background information within Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs)
  • Attend and report evaluations findings and therapy recommendations in family friendly language during IEP and ETR meetings.
  • Contribute to building a positive, supportive, and learning culture through collaboration and ongoing communication between school personnel and families.
  • Maintenance and documentation of ongoing therapy minutes and report due-dates.
  • Complete necessary Medicaid billing in conjunction with school deadlines and procedures.

Qualifications include:
  • Current licensure within the state of Ohio to practice Speech-Language Therapy
  • Current Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire).
    • Clinical Fellowship Year will be considered.
