Position Overview - Evaluate and treat students with a range of communication disorders across elementary through adult educational settings.
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop educational goals and plans, and provide individualized therapy to support academic and functional communication.
- Provide specialized support for students with complex communication needs, including the use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) systems.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, SLPAs, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and promote communication skills across educational environments.
Qualifications - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience supporting students with AAC devices/systems, particularly individuals with extensive support needs
