About the RoleHello, School Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker to support students in a K-12 school setting in Greeley, CO.
In this role, you'll provide social-emotional support, assist with family engagement, offer crisis intervention, and collaborate with educators and school teams to help students succeed. This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced clinicians who are passionate about making a meaningful impact, building relationships with students, and supporting their overall well-being and success throughout their educational journey.
What You'll Do- Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development
- Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed
- Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings
- Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families
- Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
- Connect families to community resources and supports
What We're Looking For- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
- Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills
- School-based experience preferred, not required
- Passion for supporting students' mental health and well-being
